Description du poste:
FUNCTIONS
1. Assumes responsibility for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of billing functions.
• Responsible of the following systems: Mediation Systems, Provisioning, Roaming and Interconnect.
• Prepares, or contributes to the preparation of standards and policies as they relate to the billing systems.
• Leading and/or assisting with special projects.
• Contributes to the planning of security systems as well as to the preparation of plans and installations for all network elements (Mediation, Roaming and Provisioning)
• Assists billing team with day-to-day miscellaneous work
• Oversees keying of changes and research of significant changes. Ensures billing processes are followed as required.
• Processes and reviews Marketing requirements with Project team.
• Audits billing processes for accuracy.
2. Assumes responsibility for the effective supervision of Billing Systems Operations Team.
• Supervises Billing systems staff and conducts regular performance reviews. Provides suggestions to improve employee performance. Formulates and implements corrective actions as needed and ensures that all employees are treated fairly and consistently.
• Schedules, directs, and coordinates workflow. Seeks means to increase productivity and ensures that deadlines are met. Ensures that Company and customer policies and standards are implemented.
• Provides leadership to Billing personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts regular staff meetings to inform and train employees regarding changes in policies and procedures.
• Provides support and assistance to Billing personnel as needed. Encourages teamwork and empowerment among employees.
3. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and teamwork with Company personnel and with management.
• Coordinates functions with related departments, and headquarters.
• Assists and supports Company personnel as needed. Responds to questions and information needs.
• Keeps billing manager informed of area activities and of any significant concerns.
4. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
• Ensures that work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained.
• Completes special projects as assigned.
• Attends meetings as needed.
• Delegates task and projects efficiently
Qualifications requises:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education/Certification:
• BS or Master in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Required KNOWLEDGE:
• Ability to review and accurately evaluate new technology and systems to be used in advancing the objectives defined for information systems, and the ability to translate system requirements into functional systems.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use a computer and utilize software such as Windows, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
• Thorough knowledge of Windows operating systems, Linux or Unix , MS SQL databases, Oracle and Linux Shell Scripting.
Experience Required:
• At least 2 years in Computer Science and IT
• At least 2 years of experience in System Administration (Linux/Unix)
• Working with any GSM billing system is a plus.
• Understanding of billing processes

• Able to use PC, fax, phone, and other basic business equipment.
Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss; commission mark-up and selling price; and ratio, proportion, and percentage.
• Able to perform very simple algebra.
Language Ability:
• French and English
