Business Training Specialist at Projet AVANSE USAID - Agridev S.A.
Description du poste:
The Business Training Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks, but not limited to:
• Work with Making Cents to develop training modules for business operations for producer organization and micro- and medium enterprises.
• Work with our implementing partners and supervise the coaches.
• Work with business planning specialist to develop financial models of AVANSE agro-enterprise client businesses in the different value chains.
• Offer one-on-one training and counseling to micro-and small enterprise operators and producer organizations.
• Collect results and maintain data on sales and profitability of AVANSE client enterprises.
• Help AVANSE client enterprises with registration and statutes; accompany business owners when needed through the process.
• Aid AVANE agro-enterprise clients in developing business plans.
• Lead project efforts to develop and maintain cash-flow models for main types of AVANSE agro-enterprise clients.
• Assist Access to Finance officer with producing financial documentation for loan applications.
Qualifications requises:
• 8 years of professional experience in Haiti working in at least one of the following areas: agricultural marketing; financial services; business advisory services; agricultural value chains.
• Experience with indictors, report system strengthening
• Excellent report writing skills
• Experience in data collect in, aggregation, analysis and report writing a plus
• Understanding of the government agencies and procedures
• Experience working on a donor-funded project required; experience with USAID preferred.
• Fluency in French and Haitian Creole required.
• Proficiency in English highly desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in business is required.
